After classes, we encourage you to participate in one of the Polish language workshops, grab a cup of coffee together with your classmates, or take a stroll around the neighborhood. The one-year Polish language course also means Polish culture.

Our one-year Polish language course consists of three semester courses and one intensive course. The total of 250 hours:

• group intensive Polish language course: three weeks of classes, five days a week, 4 lessons per day (4 × 45 minutes),
• group semester Polish language course: classes take place twice a week, each session lasting 2 school hours (2 × 45 minutes).

When you enroll in the one-year Polish language course, we will determine the order of the courses with you. You can start with the three-week intensive course or take it at the final stage of your learning. The choice is yours!

Additionally, you will receive three individual Polish language lessons for free, which you can use at any time during the course.

Our program also includes elements of Polish culture: you will participate in conversational classes, workshops, and integration meetings.

During each Polish language course, you will master one language level. We ensure continuity of courses at all levels of education, from beginner (A1) to the exam for the Polish language certificate at level B.

You can enroll in the one-year Polish language course whenever you want, at any time, if you already speak Polish. If you do not know Polish at all and are interested in a one-year Polish language course for beginners, you will start classes together with the next available group beginning our group course. Together, we will arrange your schedule of the Polish language classes during the one-year course.

At the Polish Language Center Varia, we offer the opportunity to legalize your stay in Poland by participating in a one-year Polish language and culture course. At Varia, you will receive the necessary documents to legally study the Polish language. Our annual program is designed for individuals applying for a visa or residence card in Poland.

How to enroll in the one-year course and obtain the necessary documents?

1. We encourage you to first contact the appropriate consulate or foreign affairs office to find out how many hours of study are required to obtain a visa or residence permit in Poland.
2. Please fill out the application form. If a different number of lessons is required for residence legalization or if additional formalities need to be fulfilled, please mention this in the notes section of your application.

3. Next, you must make the payment to the provided bank account and sign the agreement, which we will send by email after you register for the course. After we receive the full course fee and the signed agreement, we will issue the CONFIRMATION LETTER confirming your participation in the one-year Polish language and culture course. You can pick up the documents at the school office, or they can be sent to the address you provide. If you would like priority or courier shipping, we will ask you to cover the cost of such delivery.

We guarantee you the right to withdraw from the agreement for participation in the one-year Polish language course and to receive a refund of the fee paid, minus administrative costs (900 PLN), under the following conditions:

• without giving a reason within 14 days of registering for the course, if you registered outside the School’s office,
• after 14 days from registration until the start of the course you signed up for, if you receive a visa refusal,
• if you are already attending Polish language lessons, the refund amount will be further reduced by the cost of the textbooks received and the lessons already attended.

The right to a refund does not apply if the refusal to issue a residence card or visa results from the student’s absence from classes.

To receive a refund, you are obligated to:

• within 7 business days, notify Varia by email at info@kurspolskiego.pl about the receipt of a visa or residence card refusal,
• send a scanned copy of the visa or residence card refusal decision received from the relevant office (consulate or foreign affairs office).

How will you receive a refund for the one-year Polish language course?

• the refund will be made to the indicated bank account within 7 business days,
• payments received in euros are refunded in euros or in PLN to the indicated bank account within 7 business days,
• bank fees are the responsibility of the course participant.

Purchasing the one-year Polish language course obliges you to attend the course within the period specified on the confirmation letter. If you do not start the course within this period, you are not entitled to a refund of the fees paid.

Varia Polish Language Center Lt d. certifies that Mr./Ms. …………………. , born on … / … / … , holding a passport no. ………………… valid until …. / …. / …. . has enrolled in the ONE-YEAR POLISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSE.

A temporary residence card in Poland allows you to legally stay in our country and travel abroad with the possibility of return. Many Varia-students who learn Polish with us successfully use the residence permit in Poland.

The Office for Foreigners meticulously analyzes all applications, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the list of required documents and prepare them before your visit to the office:

• the confirmation letter of enrollment in the ONE-YEAR POLISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSE at Varia, which you will receive from us,
• the agreement signed with our School,
• the Polish language class schedule – available in your student pannel in Varius, our administrative system,
• the completed application,
• passport photos,
  
• a copy of the passport,
• proof of registration or residence address in Poland,
• proof of health insurance,
• proof of sufficient funds for living in Poland (bank statement).

The Office for Foreigners (Urząd do Spraw Cudzoziemców in Polish) has the right to verify your attendance in classes. Consider this as an extra motivation! Regular attendance is not only a formal requirement but, above all, the fastest way to achieve fluency and confidence in using Polish.
