Exam telc by-laws (dual B1-B2) at VARIA Polish Language Center in Krakow
§ 1 Introductory remarks
- VARIA Polish Language Centre in Krakow (hereinafter referred to as VARIA) organies the telc examination in Polish at the dual level B1-B2 (hereinafter referred to as the examination) on the basis of licensing rights.
- The exam is coordinated by CENTRUM EGZAMINACYJNE telc RZESZÓW, Wyższa Szkoła Informatyki i Zarządzania w Rzeszowie.
- The examinations are held on dates set by the Varia School, based on examination materials provided by telc GmbH.
- The exam is open to foreigners and Polish citizens permanently residing abroad who are interested in obtaining a document certifying their proficiency in Polish at level B1 or B2.
§ 2 Exam registration
- The condition for admission to the exam is to correctly fill out the online registration form and pay the exam fee by the specified date. The transfer costs are covered in full by the payer.
- Candidates are fully responsible for the accuracy of the data provided in the form. This data is the basis for issuing a telc certificate after passing the exam.
- Once you have registered for an exam at a Varia school and made a payment, it is not possible to withdraw the fee, transfer the fee to another candidate or transfer the exam to another examination center.
- By taking the telc examination, the candidate undertakes to comply with the Examination Regulations and also consents to the processing of his/her personal data.
- Exams are organized in a given exam session provided that at least 5 candidates apply. If there are fewer candidates, the final decision to hold the exam on the scheduled date, cancel the exam or set a new exam date is made by the Varia school director.
- The number of places for the exam is limited.

§ 3 Candidates with special needs
- Candidates who require adaptation of the conditions and form of the examination to their special health needs are obliged to report them during registration in the application form and send scans of appropriate medical certificates to the e-mail address info@kurspolskiego.pl.
- The school reserves the right not to organize an examination for candidates with special needs in a given examination session.
§ 4 Cancellation of the exam
- Varia reserves the right to organize examinations on set dates provided that a sufficient number of candidates register.
- In the event of an exam cancellation, candidates will be notified and will receive a refund to the provided account or will be offered to transfer their registration to the next available date.

All bank fees are the responsibility of the Student.
Persons who did not take the exam for reasons beyond the organizer’s control lose the right to a refund of the exam fee.
§ 6 Exam results and certificate issuance
- Varia sends candidates information about the exam results by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the candidate in the application form.
- The process of checking and communicating results may take up to 7 weeks after the exam.
- The person who passes the exam receives a certificate; the person who fails the exam receives a results sheet.
- People who pass the exam with the appropriate number of points will receive a telc certificate confirming knowledge of the Polish language at level B1 or B2, depending on the number of points obtained in the written and oral parts of the exam.
- The certificate can be collected in person at the Varia Polish Language Center office, ul. Michałowskiego 2/3 in Krakow. It is possible to send the certificate by post. By agreeing to send the telc certificate, the candidate assumes responsibility for any loss of the package, its damage, etc. The candidate orders the courier delivery and bears all costs related to the delivery. The Varia School undertakes to pass the package containing the certificate to the courier.
