Our weekend Polish online course has been popular for many years. Here, you can learn Polish starting from the very beginning or strengthen and develop the knowledge you already have.
You will devote just one day of the weekend (Saturday) to Polish classes, but your results will be visible after the first few lessons.
After our semester course, you will be able to read “Ferdydurke” in the original text, laugh while watching “Rejs”, or become a karaoke champion singing Dawid Podsiadło’s songs.

Polish language course - only one day a week
Practical information about the course
Polish language classes are held once a week, on Saturdays (4 x 45 minutes, with a 15-minute coffee break) on a dedicated e-learning platform, from 9:30 to 12:45. The course lasts four months. You can sign up right away for two semesters or choose 3 semesters at once and have your spot guaranteed for the entire year. We offer courses at all levels (from beginner A1.1 to advanced C).

We speak Polish from the very first class
Polish language lessons in the online weekend course for foreigners are organized in an interactive way and based on the communicative method, which emphasizes practical language skills.
Active Communication: Students are encouraged to actively participate in discussions, dialogues and simulations of real-life situations, allowing them to practice Polish in real-life contexts.
Practical Tasks: Practical Polish language tasks, such as role-play, are used in class to help participants learn phrases and expressions that are useful in everyday situations.
Individualized Approach: The teacher adjusts the pace and level of difficulty to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to develop at their own level.
Online Tools:
Polish lessons are taught using our proprietary e-learning platform, which allows:
- Video Conferencing: Used for online meetings, presentations and interaction between students.
- Interactive Whiteboards: Used for content presentation, drawing grammar diagrams and solving exercises.
- Chat and Forum: Learners can communicate between lessons, share impressions, and ask for help in understanding difficult topics.
- Online Educational Materials: Access to recorded Polish lessons, additional materials, as well as homework and online tests.

What textbook will we use for Polish lessons?
aDuring group lessons at the VARIA School we use the following textbooks: Aneta Szymkiewicz i Małgorzaty Małolepsza: "Hurra! Po Polsku 1. Podręcznik studenta." Nowa edycja (poziomy A1.1 - A1.3), "Hurra! Po Polsku 2. Podręcznik studenta." Nowa edycja (poziomy A2.1 - A2.3), "Hurra! Po Polsku 3. Podręcznik studenta." Nowa edycja (poziomy B1.1 - B1.3). B2 levels use authorial materials.
Can I receive a certificate that I am taking part in a Polish language course at the VARIA School? What conditions must be met?
A certificate of participation in a Polish language course at the VARIA School is sometimes needed by our students who apply for a visa or extend their legal stay in Poland. We issue appropriate certificates to people who have signed up for the indicated course and paid the first installment.
What is the average number of people in a group during a Polish language course at the VARIA school?
A group usually consists of 8-10 students. The minimum number of people in a group is 5, the maximum is 14.
What if I am unable to attend all classes during the semester-long Polish language course at the VARIA School?
Each participant of the semester Polish language course at the VARIA School receives access to their student panel, where they can easily check the material from the last lessons, as well as download exercises for printing.
What lectures and workshops are organized during the semester course in Polish at the VARIA online School?
Lectures and workshops at the VARIA School cover various aspects of Polish language and culture. These include pronunciation workshops where you will learn how to correctly pronounce the "rustling" consonants in Polish, practice your accent and proper intonation. We will also invite you to slang workshops where you will learn a lot of useful and "current" words from everyday language. You will also have the opportunity to participate in travel, film, or Polish "savoir vivre" workshops 😊. Of course, all our lecture and workshop proposals are free of charge and participation in them is voluntary.
