TELC POLISH EXAM PREPARATION COURSE

The telc exam preparation course lasts 4 weeks and is intended for people who know Polish at least at the A2/B1 level. We meet online once a week, on Fridays, via the Zoom platform. . Each class lasts 180 minutes – from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.with a short 15-minute break. You’ll receive the lesson link by email – just click it and you’re in class.

The telc exam at levels B1/B2 consists of two parts: a written and an oral exam. The written part lasts 115 minutes and includes four modules: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, language elements, and writing. During the listening section, participants complete tasks such as choosing the correct answer, filling in the blanks, or responding to questions. The reading section tests the ability to understand both specific details and the general meaning of the text. The grammar section focuses on the practical use of the language in short texts. In the writing module, you need to produce a text based on a selected set of tasks—the topics do not require specialized knowledge. There are no breaks between the written sections, and after they are completed, there is a break before the oral part. . Preparation for the oral exam lasts 20 minutes, and candidates are assessed in pairs. The entire structure of the exam is designed to assess all key language skills: listening, reading, grammar, and writing.

Many people wonder how difficult the telc exam is. In practice, it is not considered excessively demanding – the tasks are clear, well-structured, and based on real-life situations. The exam includes both written and oral parts, testing all key skills: listening, reading, grammar, writing, and speaking. To obtain the certificate, you need to score at least 50% of the total points. Depending on the result, the participant receives a certificate at level B1 or B2 according to the CEFR. The telc exam can be taken by both adults and teenagers – there are no age restrictions. The certificate is ready for collection within 6–8 weeks.
