Practical Polish learning in a slightly different version
Language and thematic workshops
During the intensive summer Polish course at our school, learning does not end with the morning classes. After the lessons, we invite you to language and cultural workshops that complement the curriculum and allow you to develop your language skills in an interesting and engaging way.
✔ Phonetics workshops – help participants improve their pronunciation, intonation and accent. The exercises focus on sounds specific to the Polish language, which helps students speak more naturally.
✔ Polish slang – prepared for lovers of informal language:). The workshops focus on expressions that are often used by Poles, but not always easy to understand for foreigners.
✔ Cultural workshops – such as “W rączki nie całuję – polski savoir-vivre” or „The best of Poland – z czego Polacy mogą być dumni” – allow you to better understand Polish customs, traditions, and elements of history and literature. It is a great opportunity to learn more about Poland and Polish people.
✔ Cooking workshops – this is one of the students’ favourite events during their stay in Krakow, because what better way to learn Polish than by making pierogi together? While cooking, you will not only learn recipes for traditional Polish dishes, but also vocabulary related to cuisine, taste and cooking. I wonder which teacher will take on the role of the chef this time?:).
✔ Film workshops – help to become familiar with the natural language and enrich vocabulary and understanding of the social and cultural context.
Conversations in Polish
Polish not only in the classroom
The intensive Polish language course in Cracow is all about practice. We try to make sure that each group can test their Polish language skills in natural, everyday situations. That is why, as part of the summer course, we conduct outdoor Polish language lessons: in a café, at the market, in a shop, at the train station…
This is a great opportunity to practice talking to a waiter in an authentic setting, ask about the price of fruit at the market, buy souvenirs or talk to the locals. Under the supervision of a teacher, you will overcome the language barrier and learn to react spontaneously in different situations. Outdoor lessons allow for
Evenings are a time for meetings, integration and casual conversations, preferably in Polish. We will invite you to our favorite cafes, where you can talk about literally everything over aromatic coffee and Krakow cheesecake – from the intricacies of Polish grammar to travel. We will also visit iconic Krakow clubs and places known only to “natives”. And those who are interested can try their hand at koraoke night:).
Polish after hours

- bike trips – for those who like an active lifestyle, we suggest, for example, a ride along the Vistula to the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec. This is a great opportunity to admire the city from a different perspective and spend time outdoors!
- visiting the most interesting museums in Krakow – from the Rynek Underground museum, which will take you on a journey to medieval Krakow, to MOCAK – a museum of contemporary art, where you can admire the works of the most talented artists from around the world.
