Hi, I was at Varia for an intensive Polish group course last July and it was a great experience. The students were nice, the atmosphere in the Polish lessons was great and all the teachers were very helpful. In the first week we had a trip to the pub together, and we also had a lesson on cooking pierogi. I still keep in touch with my classmates. Gosia, our Polish teacher, spoke only Polish, this method suited me very well. The classes were dynamic and fun. During those few weeks I felt that my Polish improved a lot. After the course ended, I continued taking Polish classes in an online group course. It's not difficult at all to speak Polish! I can't wait to return to Krakow and continue to improve such a wonderful language! Thank you so much!

Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of studying Polish at Varia. The atmosphere at the school is very friendly, and the teachers are supportive and take a genuine interest in each student's improvement. Because of my studies at Varia, I am able to understand and converse in Polish at a much higher level than I would have thought was possible.

For the last three years, I spent my summers and one full academic year studying Polish at VARIA. The time I spent there turned out to be a success — I achieved the B2 level in Polish! I was looking for a Polish language school for foreigners for a long time. I really recommend Varia school! All the teachers are wonderful, you can see their commitment and passion for teaching Polish. I am from the United States and lived in a small town near Kraków where no one spoke English. I had to learn the language to manage somehow, so I started looking for the best language schools in and around Kraków. Varia immediately caught my attention. I chose Varia because I noticed that it is a school that teaches ONLY Polish — so I decided that their method and teaching process must be perfect!
I took part in a 2-week intensive A1.1 online course. My two instructors were Agnieszka and Kamila. Each of them had her own teaching style, but they were very thorough and patient, explained the answers to every question we asked, and intuitively sensed if/when it was necessary to “go off track” a little and explain topics that were not necessarily planned.
If you want to learn the basics of the Polish language, I encourage you to take part in the 2-week intensive online course organized by Varia Center. You will definitely be satisfied!

I would like to sincerely thank the school for their help in learning Polish, for their patience and professionalism. I started from scratch. For over a year, I have been actively attending individual lessons, and every time I learn something new—if not grammar, then peculiarities of spoken language or elements of Polish culture. I managed to overcome the language barrier, and now I can express myself quite freely in various situations. I highly recommend it!

I was at Varia a few years ago and took part in a language course. The staff is very friendly. The basics are taught in a very professional way and give insight into the specifics of the Polish language. In the coming year, I plan to continue the course for a longer period of time :-)

I just finished the beginner course in Polish A1.
I enjoyed the course very much.
Our teacher Justyna was amazing.
It was always fun in her Polish lessons.
She was super patient and when we didn't understand something, she always explained it to us.
In Varia school everyone is helpful, you can always count on a helping hand when you need it.

Once again, I am learning Polish with Varia. This time I realized that it is good to be a woman — at least when it comes to the Polish language. My name is Andrea Mueller, and my first name changes through the grammatical cases: Andrei, Andreę, Andreą, Andrei, so it is almost still recognizable, and Mueller stays the same all the time — without any change. However, I sympathize with men whose first and last names are from a foreign language, such as Murphy. This surname changes to Murphy’ego, Murphy’emu, Murphy’ego, Murph’ym, and in the locative — amazingly — even the apostrophe disappears and it becomes simply Murphym. Polish is not easy 😊 and you can learn it only with Varia.

First of all, if I had not found this school, my life in Poland would have looked completely different. The teachers are very kind and helpful and always make sure to teach me what I am missing. They also have excellent education and experience, thanks to which they share interesting information not only about the language but also about Poland. The girls at the reception are also always supportive of our learning and always talk with the students. It is hard for me to express my gratitude in words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I highly recommend Varia School for learning Polish. It is a school that deals only with teaching Polish as a foreign language. The atmosphere at Varia is very friendly. The teachers are very experienced in teaching Polish and have a sense of humor. I progressed very quickly and didn't feel like they had to spend a lot of time teaching Polish.
