We have completed the “Kraków Wspólnie” project:

Free Polish courses for people from Ukraine

10 Dec | 2022

The Varia Polish Language Center implemented the “Kraków Wspólnie” project, organized by the Internationaler Bund Polska Foundation, in cooperation with the Education Department of the City of Krakow, and funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

From December 2022 to July 2023, the Varia Polish Language Center, in cooperation with the Internationaler Bund Foundation, the City of Krakow, and UNICEF, organized free Polish language courses for teachers and intercultural assistants, as well as for children and youth aged 9–24 fleeing the war in Ukraine. We offered both in-person and online classes. The course consisted of 120 hours delivered in the form of lessons and workshops. Classes were conducted at various language levels, tailored to the abilities of each group. A total of 150 people participated in the courses.

We warmly congratulate all the students on their excellent results and wish them success in continuing to learn the Polish language!
