Intensive Summer Courses – 2 Weeks with the Polish Language

Among them are beginner learners of the Polish language as well as ‘veterans’ of many courses, both young and ‘young at heart’,those who are in love with Poland and Poles…
On top of all that, sunny summer weather and Kraków – full of tourist and cultural attractions. What more could you want?

For those unfamiliar, we have prepared a small sample of what awaits you in Kraków at our… summer intensive course.

Here is a description of a day in the life of a Varia student:

Every day we start usefully and… pleasantly, that is, with Polish lessons. We guarantee that intensive conversations in Polish are just as stimulating as your morning coffee.

And speaking of coffee… After 90 minutes of intensive work, it’s time for all students to enjoy a 15-minute break with complimentary coffee and tea, combined with:

• sharing impressions from the previous day and planning the evening together (for social gatherings),
• multilingual conversations in Polish, English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, and sometimes all these languages at once (not just for philologists),
• booking tickets for a weekend trip to Zakopane (for the active),
• exchanging recipes for bigos and stuffed cabbage rolls (for food lovers),
• a short nap (for partygoers),
• a quick walk for a cheese-filled pastry for second breakfast (for the hungry)
• a shared selfie (for the photogenic 😉).

Everyone will find something for themselves!

Relaxed and motivated, we return to Polish lessons. Grammar, phonetics, and most importantly, conversations… On our intensive course, you’ll see how quickly you can start speaking Polish!

After the classes, your brain will get more exercise at various themed workshops on… phonetics? Slang? Polish music? Or maybe a virtual tour of Poland?

Hungry for more experiences? It’s time for a shared lunch! Sushi, kebab, pizza, pork cutlet with cabbage… — in Kraków, you’ll find every cuisine in the world. But rumor has that tthe best lunch in Kraków is served by Varia students at the pierogi cooking workshops. Don’t believe it? Try it yourself!

The second half of the day is time to explore Kraków. In addition to the workshops, we’ve prepared a list of our “must-see” spots — our favorite places that you absolutely have to visit in Kraków.
