Hi, I was at Varia for an intensive Polish group course last July and it was a great experience. The students were nice, the atmosphere in the Polish lessons was great and all the teachers were very helpful. In the first week we had a trip to the pub together, and we also had a lesson on cooking pierogi. I still keep in touch with my classmates. Gosia, our Polish teacher, spoke only Polish, this method suited me very well. The classes were dynamic and fun. During those few weeks I felt that my Polish improved a lot. After the course ended, I continued taking Polish classes in an online group course. It's not difficult at all to speak Polish! I can't wait to return to Krakow and continue to improve such a wonderful language! Thank you so much!

Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of studying Polish at Varia. The atmosphere at the school is very friendly, and the teachers are supportive and take a genuine interest in each student's improvement. Because of my studies at Varia, I am able to understand and converse in Polish at a much higher level than I would have thought was possible.

For the past three years I have spent my vacations and one full academic year learning Polish at VARIA. My time there was a success, I reached B2 level in Polish! It was a real challenge! I thank VARIA for challenging me and supporting me in my struggles (struggling only because Polish is VERY difficult for native English speakers! 😉 ). Good things are worth the sacrifice! I was looking for a Polish language school for foreigners for a long time. I really recommend Varia school! All the teachers are wonderful, you can see their commitment and passion for teaching Polish. I am from America and was living in a small town outside of Kraków where nobody spoke English. I needed to learn the language to be able to get by, so I started researching the best language schools in and around the Kraków area. Varia immediately came up in my search. I chose Varia because, after research, I discovered they are a school that ONLY teaches Polish...so of course they must have the method and process of teaching down!
I took a 2-week intensive online A1.1 course. My two instructors were Agnieszka and Kamila. Each instructor had their own teaching style, but they were very thorough and patient, explained the answers to every question we asked and were very intuitive about if/when we needed to "go off track" a bit and explain things that weren't necessarily planned.
If you want to learn the basics of Polish, I encourage you to take part in a 2-week intensive online course organized by the Varia Center. You will definitely be satisfied!

Thanks to the school for the help in learning Polish, for patience and professionalism. I started from the scratch. For more than a year I have been actively attending individual lessons and every time I learn something new, if not in grammar, then in the peculiarities of speaking or Polish culture. I managed to overcome the language barrier and now I can easily communicate in different situations. I recommend it!

I had been in Varia a few years ago and participated in the language course. The staff is very friendly. The basics were taught in a very focused way and gave me a good insight into the Polish language. I plan to take the course for a longer time next year 😊

I just finished the beginner course in Polish A1. I enjoyed the course very much. Our teacher Justyna was amazing. It was always fun in her Polish lessons. She was super patient and when we didn't understand something, she always explained it to us. In Varia school everyone is helpful, you can always count on a helping hand when you need it.
As soon as I passed the Polish test I signed up for the next course and I am already looking forward to more Polish lessons.

Once again I am learning Polish with Varia. This time I realized that it is good to be a woman - at least when it comes to the Polish language. My name is Andrea Mueller, and it’s conjugated by cases: Andrei, Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, so you can almost still recognize it, and Mueller is what it is all the time - no change. I do, however, sympathize with men with a foreign language surname, such as Murphy. That surname changes to Murphy’ego, Murphy’emu, Murphy’ego, Murph’ym, and in the locative - oh wonder - even the apostrophe disappears - and it will just be Murphym. Polish is not easy 😊 and you can learn it only with Varia.

First of all, if I hadn't met this school, my life in Poland would be completely different. The teachers are very nice and helpful, and they always make sure to teach me what I'm missing. They also have excellent education and experience, so they give interesting information not only about the language, but also about Poland. The girls in the office are also always very supportive and always talk to the students. It's hard for me to find the words to express my gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I highly recommend Varia School for learning Polish. It is a school that deals only with teaching Polish as a foreign language. The atmosphere at Varia is very friendly. The teachers are very experienced in teaching Polish and have a sense of humor. I progressed very quickly and didn't feel like they had to spend a lot of time teaching Polish.
